An amazing find!
I adored this beautiful guesthouse in a listed building. It was within a 2 minute walk to the University of Bristol and the museum, as well as a huge range of quirky shops and cool places to eat. There were frequent buses that had reasonable fares and went all over the city, although the city map made walking to most places an easy experience. The staff at the Berkeley Square House were so welcoming and friendly. I stayed in a single room which was really quite small, but I had a peek at the double rooms and they looked quite spacious. The tiny bathroom in my room had a window that overlooked the park, which was very nice. There was a common area that was quiet and pleasant to hang out in for reading or catching up on writing. My room was very clean, as was every area of the house that I accessed. I completely loved my stay, and if I am ever in Bristol again, I will reserve a room here.
Excellent location, great hotel, friendly staff
Just got back from a great stay in Bristol for my daughter’s graduation. We had two rooms, both of which were great. Very clean, and very well decorated, with very comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and bent over backwards to accommodate us.
They now have a small breakfast room where you can help yourself to a limited selection of cereals etc. the location is great, quiet, and just off Park street (so only a short walk to town in one direction, and Clifton in the other).
I will be staying there again, and would highly recommend it to everyone.
